Commission Business Meeting Schedule

Commission Business Meetings are held to allow the commissioners to discuss with each other and/or make decisions on substantive matters in a public meeting. Regularly scheduled Commission Meetings are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the First Floor Hearing Room, except for the following dates, on which no meeting will occur:

When a Commission Meeting must be canceled, notice will be sent and/or posted as far in advance as possible.

A Commission Meeting is not a hearing; the public, parties to a docket and their counsel are welcome to attend but shall not expect to address the Commission. Public participation by telephone in a Commission Meeting is not permitted. Commission Meetings are not transcribed, recorded or broadcast.

  • Work Study Session Notice
    Work Study Sessions are held every Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the 3rd Floor Hearing Room, unless otherwise notified. Work Study Sessions are for the Commission to receive updates from staff and presentations on items of interest to the Commission. Although the Commission does not intend to take binding action during these Work Study Sessions, it reserves the right to do so, if necessary.
  • Administrative Meeting Notice
    Administrative Meetings are held every Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Commissioners’ Conference Room, unless otherwise notified. Administrative Meetings are held for the Commission’s Division Directors to report and update commissioners about administrative or operational functions of the agency including but not limited to budget, personnel and purchasing.
Unless otherwise noted, all Meetings are held at the KCC Office, 1500 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka.
